CageVision

Privacy Policy

Effective September 25, 2026 · Version 1.0

CageVision measures baseball and softball swings in a batting cage and shows the result on a phone, a tablet and a TV. This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how you get it deleted. It is written to be read, not skimmed. If anything here is unclear, email us and a person answers.

Who we are

CageVision is operated by Ryan Deo ("CageVision", "we"). Contact: ryandeo15@gmail.com.

Technical data

Why we collect it

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use swing video to train anything that is not part of measuring swings.

Who can see what

Access follows the hitter, not the device.

Children

Hitters under 13 do not get accounts. They exist as profiles managed by the coach and their guardians. Video of a hitter under 18 is released to a guardian only after the guardian gives consent in the app, and a guardian can withdraw that consent or ask us to delete the video at any time. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

Deleting your data

Where it lives and who helps us run it

Data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) in the United States: authentication, database, file storage, hosting and the servers that make reels. Apple provides Sign in with Apple and TestFlight or App Store distribution. These providers process data for us under their own security commitments; they do not get to use it for themselves. Video and numbers travel encrypted in transit and are stored encrypted at rest. Video is only ever served through short-lived signed links.

Your choices

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will show the new version before you continue, and this page will carry the new date.
