CageVision

Terms of Use

Effective September 25, 2026 · Version 1.0

These terms cover the CageVision app and the CageVision cage units it connects to. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you are a guardian acting for a hitter under 18, you agree on the hitter's behalf.

What CageVision is

CageVision measures swings in a batting cage with cameras and software, shows the numbers on a board and in the app, records short video clips of each swing, and makes reels and share links from them. The numbers are measurements, not guarantees. They are meant for training and enjoyment, not for medical, scouting or contractual decisions.

Accounts

Video and consent

Your content

Swing video and numbers about you or a hitter you are responsible for belong to you. You give CageVision permission to store, process and display them to run the service, which includes making reels and serving share links you ask for. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising.

Acceptable use

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Cage units

Cage units are owned and operated by the facility or coach who installed them. CageVision is not responsible for the safety of the cage itself. Balls, bats and nets are dangerous; use the cage as its operator instructs.

Service changes and availability

We improve the app and the measurement software often, and we may change or remove features. We aim to keep the service available but do not promise it will never be interrupted. Video is kept for 90 days unless flagged to keep; see the Privacy Policy.

No warranty and limits on liability

CageVision is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. We can end these terms if you break them. Sections about content, liability and disputes survive.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, and any dispute will be heard in the courts located there. We would rather talk first: email us and we will try to sort it out.
